On the morning of September 23, 2001, the Lord awakened me and I found
myself singing the chorus of this song. Within a matter of minutes, He had
given me all the words and music to this song and by God's incredible
provision, I was enabled to make this recording two days later. I believe
this song was given as God's response to our nation as we and our leaders
cried out to him to bless America in the wake of the terrorist attacks on
9/11. It a loving and gentle call to our nation to return to God - the
Founder and Sustainer of America - with our whole heart. It is a song of
encouragement in this time of trial and challenge - that His love and His
mercy are with us yet.
